Your manuscripts are out. Now all you have to do is wait…
and wait…
and wait some more…
Uh-oh…you begin to wonder if they received your manuscript. It’s been so long… (Read post, status queries: when and how to do it).
OR more silence. You could do something productive with all that time. Here are your options:
- Write another book
- Revise an old manuscript. Read all of my posts on revisions, starting with this one: read post, revision 9-1-1: how to spot common problems and fix them.
- Notify people of the status of your manuscript. Read post, status updates: when and how to do it.
- Stay in touch with the publishing industry
- Hang out with your writer friends who are also waiting
I’m going to turn each of these bullets into articles as I get the time.
